Portfolio

Design work shaped around clarity, structure, and real-world use.

A growing collection of concept redesigns, semi-custom foundations and website studies by Yelissy. Each one starts from a problem a small business would recognise.

Website redesign · concept

Before and after, for two familiar kinds of small business.

Both businesses are fictional. Each transformation shows the problem, the approach, and the resulting design direction.

01 — Concept redesign

Bella Hair & Beauty Studio

Salon website redesign

Concept of the outdated Bella Hair & Beauty Studio website on desktop and mobile

Before — Outdated presentation · weak hierarchy · less intuitive customer journey

Problem
Everything on one long page, an unclear price list, and no obvious way to make an appointment.
Approach
Treatments grouped and named plainly, a single visible booking action, and a layout designed for phones first.

02 — Concept redesign

Milano Neighborhood Café

Café website redesign

Concept of the outdated Milano Neighborhood Café website on desktop and mobile

Before — Information feels crowded · important details are harder to find · dated mobile experience

Problem
The menu hidden inside a PDF, opening hours buried in a paragraph, and no direct way to reserve.
Approach
Opening hours and menu surfaced immediately, location made obvious, and a reservation action present on every screen.

Concept project

Concept work, created to explore how different businesses could appear online.

These studies are not client projects. Each one was created by Yelissy to demonstrate structure, hierarchy, and visual direction for a familiar type of small business.

Concept projects are self-initiated design studies created by Yelissy to demonstrate structure, layout, and visual direction. They are not real clients and the businesses shown do not exist.
